Mughal Bagh

Whispering Petals

This is a serene masterpiece from the "Mughal Bagh" series, it is a testament to the enduring artistry of Kashmiri hand-knotted carpets, known for their exquisite detail and luxurious feel. Crafted with a fine knot count, its intricate design exemplifies the classic Persian garden style, where a central medallion often symbolizes a water feature, and surrounding motifs represent a flourishing paradise.

The harmonious blend of soft ivory, gentle blues, and warm earthy tones creates a tranquil expanse, appearing as if delicate breezes carry petals across a serene landscape. This piece embodies the overarching theme of the "Mughal Bagh" series: celebrating the symmetrical beauty, lush tranquility, and sophisticated artistry of historical Mughal gardens, inviting a sense of timeless elegance and peaceful contemplation into any space.

Bagh-e-Shehnshah (Garden of Kings)

A labor of devotion and discipline, Garden of Kings was brought to life over 10 months by the hands of three master artisans. Inspired by the timeless elegance of the Chahar Bagh — the Persian four-part garden — this carpet is a homage to order, beauty, and the sacred geometry of paradise.

Each panel is a garden within a garden: floral motifs, miniature vases, and tree-of-life elements meticulously arranged to mirror the architectural poetry of Mughal courtyards. The symmetry is meditative, yet the detailing keeps the eye wandering, like a stroll through an emperor’s private retreat.

What sets this piece apart is its living texture. Woven with high-grade silk and wool, the surface reacts to light and touch. One sweep of the hand and the hues shift—deepening into regal shadows; another pass, and it softens into a golden glow. This dual-tone effect gives the carpet a fluid, almost liquid quality—like sunlight dancing on water.

Garden of Kings is not just a carpet. It’s a canvas of movement, memory, and mastery—an heirloom woven from time itself.

Pavilion Pathways

This "Pavilion Pathways" rug, a unique creation from the "Mughal Bagh" series, draws inspiration from the meticulously organized and aesthetically rich landscapes of imperial gardens. Its striking design features a series of interconnected panels, each a miniature garden in itself, filled with intricate floral motifs, delicate foliage, and classic architectural elements in harmonious shades of gold, blue, cream, and rich brown.

This structured compartment design, characteristic of some Persian and Hamadan styles, mirrors the distinct sections, courtyards, and pavilions found within traditional Mughal gardens. It speaks to the ordered beauty and diverse natural elements cultivated within these grand estates, creating a visual journey through a serene and artfully conceived paradise.
